Wine for the Confused, by John Cleese

A Delightful Film

John Cleese, the famed British actor from Monty Python, is the host of this lovely documentary about the basics of enjoying wine. He tours some California wineries and does a walk-through of some varietals. This is really enjoyable, I highly recommend it for a sunny evening.

A Recommendation

And for further enjoyment, here is a wine recommendation: this is my favorite, with strong flavors of ripe plum, black pepper, and vanilla, and aged in French oak.

Kennedy Shah’s La Vie En Rouge, local from Woodinville, WA.
